Matthew was born and raised in Port Dover, Ontario. Matthew obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2011, earning a Gold Medal for the highest average in a four-year major degree in Social Sciences. Matthew went on to graduate from Windsor Law in 2015.
Prior to joining Fosters Law LLP, Matthew worked for both a plaintiff personal injury litigation firm, as well as an insurance defence litigation firm. Matthew has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Social Security Tribunal of Canada (formerly the Canada Pension Plan Review Tribunal), and the Licence Appeal Tribunal.
An avid hockey fan, Matthew can be found either playing on the ice or at home watching the Leafs. In his spare time, Matthew enjoys playing a variety of sports, hiking, fishing, archery and other outdoor activities. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
