Janice Straub

A passionate litigator and committed volunteer.

Janice joined the firm in 2012, as an Associate Lawyer specializing in Insurance Defence and Personal Injury Law.

She studied at Western University where she obtained a Masters Degree specializing in International Relations and Human Rights. Janice continued her studies and completed her law degree in 2006 from Western, and was subsequently called to the bar in 2007. While at Western, Janice was the Student Coordinator for the Pro Bono Students Canada and grew her chapter into the second largest in the country. Prior to joining Fosters Law LLP, Janice practised Personal Injury Law. Her expertise in motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls enables her to assess a file from many perspectives when advocating for her clients.

A committed volunteer, Janice has sat on many boards including the London Abused Women’s Centre and is currently a member of the board at Vanier Children’s Services. With a passion for animal rights, Janice is involved with local and international animal rescue agencies and provides a happy home to a spoiled Doberman and a Formosan Mountain Dog, rescued from the streets of Taiwan.
