A dedicated philanthropist and experienced litigator.
Catherine joined the firm of Fosters Law LLP in 2005.
After accepting a fastball scholarship to Benedictine College in Kansas, Catherine graduated with honours in political science and pre-law in 1999. She then returned to her native city of London to study law at the University of Western Ontario. She completed her studies in 2002, and was called to the Bar the following year.
Over the years, Catherine has developed a practice in insurance defence and personal injury. She is a litigator who carefully scrutinizes legal principles while recognizing the human element of each case. In the courtroom, Catherine is an unflinching and creative advocate who employs out-of-the-box thinking to achieve the best results for her client. While she enjoys her role as a Trial lawyer, Catherine recognizes that advocacy does not begin at the courtroom steps. She is a staunch believer in using alternative dispute resolution where possible to achieve timely and just outcomes. Catherine works diligently to navigate the adversarial legal process with professionalism and civility.
The law is ever-changing, and Catherine maintains a collaborative and adaptable practice so that she can change with it.
Outside of the office, Catherine is a dedicated philanthropist who supports causes close to her heart. She owes much of her professional success to those who support her in her personal life.
