Anne Davenport

An experienced litigator and former member of the Canadian National Synchronized Swimming team.

Anne joined the firm of Fosters Law LLP in 2011.

Her undergraduate studies were completed in the areas of science and kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. In 2008, Anne obtained her law degree at the University of Western Ontario and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009. While at Western law, Anne volunteered her time at Community Legal Services and developed her passion for advocacy. Throughout her professional career, Anne has focused her practice on civil litigation including personal injury, insurance litigation, medical malpractice and professional liability, as well as historical assaults and fraud.

As a passionate advocate, Anne has developed a special interest in Jury trial advocacy and has successfully represented clients at a number of trials. Anne has further developed her trial and advocacy skills through completing the Intensive Trial Advocacy Workshop at Osgoode Hall Law School and numerous courses through the National Institute for Trial advocacy, including the intensive Building Trial Skills Program. As a trial lawyer, Anne recognizes that trials should be reserved for those situations where it is necessary to achieve a fair and reasonable result for her clients. Anne works to resolve disputes for her clients as efficiently as possible and embraces the value of alternative dispute resolution to achieve these goals.

Anne enjoys staying active through swimming, running, and weight training. She is a former member of the Canadian National Synchronized Swimming team.
